Getting organized
My momME weekly planner arrived last week and I love it! I just started using it yesterday and I’m getting used to the new system. I caught myself writing a to-do list on a piece of scrap paper instead of in my weekly planner! Tsk. Tsk. Also, I see I haven’t actually scheduled in any “ME” time yet either. However, I have high hopes for getting more organized. I’ve realized there are recurring Sweetbeets-related tasks that I do daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly so I’m going to schedule those and then not worry about them in the between times.
Today I was reading this article and I realized I am an “always on email checker”. Yikes! I’ve just reset the auto-checking to every hour instead of every five minutes. That should help! By the way, there is a regular feature on Modish Biz tips blog called Retail: Brick by Brick that you might find interesting.
In other news, I’m exhibiting at Paper Pops! (an online marketplace curated by Poppytalk) that’s on now through June 12. The theme is paper goods and affordable artwork.
I’m also launching a line of print-your-own baby shower and kids birthday party invitations that will be for sale as PDFs only in my Etsy shop. I’m hoping these will appeal to moms like me who want some unique and easy do-it-yourself options with fun, non-commercial party themes. The digital file for the invitations have fillable text fields so you can quickly add your own party details before printing.

The first design is inspired by a space-themed party we had a couple of years ago. I’ll be sharing more space party ideas and inspiration later this week.
A big thank you to meeabee who is the very first person to blog about my new printable party templates!
