New look for Sweetbeets.com!
I’m thrilled that the redesign of my Sweetbeets website is finally done! In addition to a fresh new look, the biggest change is that I added a shopping cart (psst…prices are in Canadian dollars and if you are in the USA it’s a great time to take advantage of the exchange rate which is in your favor!).
There’s also a cool slide show with images of the letterpress printing process and a newsletter signup if you haven’t already subscribed. I hope you’ll keep Sweetbeets in mind the next time you need a card for a special celebration!
Now that this project is behind me, I’ve started working on some letterpress prints that will fit standard frames and will make affordable artwork for baby’s nursery. I’m planning to have one design letterpress printed initially (in two colorways) to see how it goes. I’ll also be adding some designs for custom baby announcements.

The new site looks gorgeous in my favorite shade of turquoise! I love the detailed information about the letterpress process and the beautiful photos. I had no idea how big those machines are.

Congrats on getting it up and running. It is interesting to read about how letterpress is done. How did you get involved in letterpress?
Thanks Katie! When I started making cards a few years ago I used rubber stamps. A little while afterwards I started hearing about letterpress in design blogs and also in an article in a Martha Stewart magazine and I loved the unique look. When I had the idea to start a stationery company, I knew I wanted my designs to be letterpress printed!
