Think big and shop small at Cosa Verde

I was super flattered to be invited by the creators of Cosa Verde to signup as a founding member.
Cosa Verde is a new marketplace connecting independent and emerging artists with environmentally-conscious consumers.
Sellers showcase their eco-friendly handmade wares in exchange for a monthly fee. Cosa Verde is juried to maintain certain standards and to keep it small so that your products will get decent exposure.
Cosa Verde aims to become the “go-to” site for fabulous eco-friendly handmade goods. Buyers can browse by category and refine searches by criteria such as “organic”, “repurposed” and “cruelty-free”.
I just finished setting up my Sweetbeets shop and it was very easy. There is a category for baby and kids, but I decided to put Sweetbeets in “cards and stationery” as I thought it was a better fit overall. The site is well designed and the interface is slick (love the one-page shop set up!). I read here that they are introducing some new features including the ability to easily import your items from several commerce sites including Etsy and Big Cartel. It sounds like RSS feeds will be used to do this.
Sound interesting? If you decide to sign up as a seller, please kindly use my username “sweetbeets” as your referrer. Here’s the direct link: http://cosaverde.com/referral/sweetbeets/ Thanks!
