Eco-friendly handcrafted slippers for kids

My son’s new slippers arrived today and I’m thrilled! They are handcrafted by Catherine of Little Friend using upcycled materials. The argyle lambswool (from a sweater) has been felted so it’s super soft, and the sole is made of suede from a men’s jacket. The cotton flannel lining inside makes them extra cozy.
It feels a bit extravagant to have custom-made slippers, but for just shy of $20 usd (including shipping to Canada!) I couldn’t resist. This is definitely a step (way) up from the slippers I made for my son to wear at kindergarten last year. That pair fell apart, literally at the seams, after a couple of months and they kept being sent home for repairs! My son is excited to bring these new ones to kindergarten on Monday and he’s been wearing them around the house in the meantime. Thanks so much Catherine!
By the way, these slippers currently for sale at Little Friends would be perfect for a 4-5 year old girl.
