Artistan tees for kids at Red Poppy

I’m always curious when a new online children’s boutique launches to see how they distinguish themselves and create their own niche.
An ad in the latest issue of Small announcing the launch of Red Poppy caught my eye. At this Vancouver-based online boutique you’ll find a carefully edited selection of artisan t-shirts for hip babies and toddlers. Brands include Fauna, Glug, Eight3One, and Decaf Plush. Many of the designs are limited editions. Mio My Mio from Denmark is coming soon, and more selections will be added with each season.
The wife and husband team behind Red Poppy thought they would only sell t-shirts, but changed their minds when they discovered Nix All Star Socks. I’m so glad they did! This may sound strange to get excited about socks, but I’m delighted to learn that Nix are made in the USA as it’s pretty hard to find basics like socks and underwear for kids that aren’t made overseas. I’m definitely bookmarking Red Poppy so I can stock up on Nix for my boys the next time we’ve lost too many in the dryer.
