I thought I’d show you a few Waldorf-themed finds today. This little Winter Aconite Child is lovingly handmade of pure wool by Nature Child. I wasn’t familiar with winter aconite but after a quick google search I learned that it’s a flower in the buttercup family that blooms in very early spring. So sweet!

This silhouette print reminds me of the weekly hikes through the nearby woods that my son takes while attending a Waldorf-inspired kindergarten. Designed by Vana Chupp of Le Papier Studio, this artwork is just perfect for a child’s room. It can also be personalized and would make a thoughtful gift for welcoming a baby or saying congratulations to a new ‘big sister’.

As you may have noticed, I have a thing for wooden toys and this car carrier is fantastic! It’s a very creative design by Brian Driscoll of Countree Toy Shoppe. He’s been in the toy business for 20 years and it shows in his beautiful work that is clearly heirloom quality. Check out his wooden airplane and helicopter set, bulldozer and logging truck set, many pull toys and a huge marble run.
