Ruffles galore

I’ve been noticing ruffle details on children’s clothing lately, but not the pink frilly kind! Yesterday Jan at poppytalk wrote about the ruffle trend featured in the April 2008 issue of a Canadian home decor magazine. Today seems like the perfect time to pull together a post on this trend as it applies to children’s fashions. Some indie designers using ruffles include pink chicken (diaper cover), mette (white dress), cloth pony (grey floral dress), eeni meeni miini moh (long sleeve shirt and pants) and golden (grey vest). I also love the fluffy ruffle edge on this organic baby blanket by robbie adrian.
